Treadmill Test, also known as TMT Test In Dombivli,
is a cardiological test that determines the heart's capacity to respond to
excessive stress in a medical setting.
Cardiac Stress Test is another name for TMT Test. The TMT measure compares the coronary circulation of a patient in a resting state to a
patient that has been exposed to excessive pressure or stress. This procedure
is primarily used to detect Coronary Artery Disease and to assess the patient's
risk of heart disease.
TMT assesses discomfort by either exercising on a treadmill or
pedaling a bicycle. Stress levels are increasingly raised on the treadmill to
test the patient's heart function by raising the pace or increasing the degree
of difficulty.
TMT Process
The attending physician will first connect the patient to an ECG
machine. The treatment will now begin. Before the tests begin, the patient's
blood pressure may be taken whilst they are at rest. The patient must then
begin using the treadmill. The lab technician will gradually raise the
difficulty level and inquire how you are doing.
Whether you have some pain in your chest or shoulder. In the
meantime, the lab technician will keep an eye on your ECG. If the patient
becomes uneasy at some stage, the test should be halted. You shouldn't get off
the treadmill right away. The patient should gradually reduce the levels before
stopping. Since getting off the treadmill, the patient can go on a stroll and
get his blood pressure back to normal.
An ECG test is performed prior to the start of the TMT Test In Dombivli to
assess the heart rate at rest. The patient is asked to stand on the treadmill
machine until it is started at a steady 'warm-up' rpm. The procedure is usually
used to determine a patient's level of operation. Furthermore, we provide
low-cost options.
